Finance and Annual Return – Tilney St Lawrence Parish Council

The financial year for the Parish Council runs from 1st April to 31st March. By the end of January each year, a budget detailing expected income and expenditure for the forthcoming year will be agreed.

The majority of the income of the Council is provided for by the Parish’s annual precept. This is collected by the Borough Council and is detailed on individual household’s Council Tax demands.

An Annual Return summarising income received and expenditure incurred is completed each year and sent to an internal and external auditor. When these and other key documents relating to the Council’s finances are completed for the latest financial year, they will be added below. A link to previous years’ documents is also included.
