The financial year for the Parish Council runs from 1st April to 31st March. In January, a budget detailing expected income and expenditure for the forthcoming year is agreed.
The majority of the income of the Council is provided for by the Parish’s annual precept. This is collected by the Borough Council and is detailed on individual household’s Council Tax demands.
An Annual Return summarising income received and expenditure incurred is completed each year and sent to an external auditor. The audit for the last financial year has been concluded and the statement of accounts and the auditor’s report can be found below.
